Sexological bodywork

Transform Your Relationship with Your Body and Your Pleasure

Experience Embodied Healing and True Connection

Sexological bodywork® is a powerful, hands-on approach to reconnecting with your body, transforming your intimate life, and cultivating a sense of embodied pleasure that extends into every part of your life.

Whether you’re struggling with low libido, painful sex, body shame, or simply feeling disconnected from your sexuality, sexological bodywork provides a safe, supportive space to explore, heal, and grow.

What Is Sexological Bodywork®?

Sexological bodywork is a healing modality that focuses on the body’s natural capacity for pleasure, healing, and transformation.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, sexological bodywork involves direct, embodied experiences—using breath, touch, movement, and awareness to help you connect with your body in a deeply meaningful way.

During a session, we work with the body in real-time, exploring sensations, releasing tension, and addressing any barriers that may be blocking your access to pleasure or intimacy. It is a process of learning, unlearning, and opening up to the full range of sensations and experiences that your body is capable of.

How Does It Work?

Sexological bodywork is a collaborative process between you and me, where we focus on your goals, needs, and boundaries. It may include:

  • Guided Breathwork: To help you relax, release tension, and increase sensitivity to the sensations in your body.

  • Somatic Awareness Practices: Engaging your full body awareness to tune into subtle sensations, allowing you to reconnect with pleasure and let go of any numbness or disconnection.

  • One-Way, Healing, & Educational Touch: Touch that is educational and intentional, focusing on areas where you may be holding tension or experiencing discomfort, and supporting you in discovering new pathways to pleasure.

  • Nervous System Regulation: Learning how to regulate your nervous system so you can access pleasure in a safe and relaxed state, moving beyond stress and anxiety that may be limiting your sexual experiences.

  • Boundary and Consent Practices: Exploring and practicing how to set and communicate boundaries, ask for what you want, and create a safe container for intimacy.

The aim of sexological bodywork is to provide you with the tools, experiences, and support needed to re-pattern old habits, release any tension or blockages held in the body, and open up to new possibilities for intimacy and pleasure.

Your Path to Healing and Fulfillment

If you are ready to move beyond the limitations of shame, fear, and disconnection and experience a more embodied, fulfilling, and joyous sexual life, sexological bodywork may be the perfect fit. It’s not just about talking about your desires or challenges—it’s about experiencing, feeling, and re-patterning the body in real-time.

Regulation, Certification, and My Comprehensive Approach

Trust and Professional Standards

Sexological bodywork is a specialized healing practice designed to help individuals connect with their bodies, explore pleasure, and heal from challenges related to intimacy. To ensure the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and effectiveness, sexological bodyworkers undergo rigorous training and certification processes.

I’m Nicole Siegel and I am a Certified Sexological Bodyworker®, which means I have completed extensive training in somatic practices, anatomy, trauma-informed care, and client-centered approaches to sexuality. This certification is recognized by the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB), an international organization that upholds professional standards and ethical practices in the field of somatic sex education.

Certification as a sexological bodyworker® involves:

  • Comprehensive Training: Certified practitioners undergo hundreds of hours of training in topics such as human anatomy, nervous system regulation, breathwork, trauma-informed care, ethics, and somatic practices. This training prepares practitioners to work effectively with the body, helping clients release tension, reconnect with pleasure, and navigate intimacy with safety and confidence.

  • Client-Centered and Trauma-Informed Approach: Certification emphasizes the importance of working from a client-centered and trauma-informed perspective. This means that all sessions are tailored to meet the specific needs, boundaries, and goals of each individual, and that safety and consent are prioritized at every step.

  • Ethics and Professional Conduct: Practitioners adhere to a strict code of ethics, which includes maintaining professional boundaries, obtaining informed consent, and ensuring that all touch is one-way (from the practitioner to the client) and solely for the benefit of the client’s learning and experience. The aim is to create a safe, respectful environment where clients feel empowered to explore and heal.

  • Ongoing Education: Certified sexological bodyworkers® are committed to ongoing education, staying informed about the latest developments in the field, and continually refining their skills to provide the most effective support to clients.

A Well-Rounded Approach to Healing and Intimacy

My approach to sexological bodywork® is deeply informed by a diverse background in somatic, intimate, and holistic health education. This well-rounded approach allows me to integrate a variety of methods and perspectives, creating a unique experience for each client.

Somatic and Embodied Practices—My work is rooted in somatic, body-based practices that emphasize the importance of connecting with the physical self. By guiding clients through breathwork, movement, and touch, I help them reconnect with their bodies, release tension, and cultivate a sense of embodied pleasure. This is especially crucial for those who have experienced disconnection from their bodies, as it provides a direct pathway to reclaiming sensation and intimacy.

Trauma-Informed Care—A key aspect of my work is a trauma-informed approach, which ensures that all practices are conducted with the utmost respect for the client’s boundaries and past experiences. Trauma often leaves lasting imprints in the body, and my training in nervous system regulation and trauma-sensitive practices allows me to support clients in a gentle, non-triggering way, helping them to feel safe as they explore their bodies.

Emotional Integration and Body Awareness—I believe that sexual healing is not just about addressing physical symptoms—it’s about integrating emotional experiences as well. My training emphasizes the importance of understanding and releasing the emotions that are held within the body, especially in areas like the pelvis, where we often store shame, grief, or fear. By working with these emotional layers, clients can access deeper healing and experience a more profound sense of freedom and joy.

Birth, Postpartum, and Female Health—My background in supporting clients through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum provides me with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by those in female bodies. This knowledge is invaluable when working with clients navigating changes in their bodies, whether due to childbirth, hormonal shifts, or other life transitions. It allows me to provide specialized support that honors the cyclical, ever-changing nature of the female body.

Communication, Boundaries, and Relational Intimacy—Intimacy is not just about physical connection; it also involves communication, boundaries, and the ability to express one’s needs and desires. My work focuses on helping clients develop these skills—whether they’re exploring how to talk about what they want, setting boundaries with a partner, or navigating difficult conversations. By integrating these relational skills with body-based practices, clients can experience more satisfying and authentic connections.

Why Certification and Comprehensive Training Matter—The certification and diverse areas of study ensure that sexological bodywork® is conducted with the highest level of care, skill, and professionalism. Working with a practitioner trained in both somatic and emotional integration means that you receive support tailored to the full spectrum of your experiences—addressing both physical and emotional challenges.

My comprehensive training allows me to guide you with expertise and care—ensuring that every session is designed to meet your specific needs, that you feel safe and supported at all times, and that the work we do together is grounded in professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
